The Hydraulic Backhoe Has Arrived

The Ozziquip Hydraulic Digger Backhoe is now available as part of the MarKay Outdoors mini loader hire range.

This backhoe-style attachment connects to the Kanga PW628 and uses the loader’s hydraulic system to provide controlled digging power in a compact package.

It is designed for jobs where digging by hand would take too long, but bringing a larger excavator onto the property may be unnecessary or difficult.

Correct attachment: This is an Ozziquip Hydraulic Digger Backhoe for mini loaders. It is not the smaller genuine Kanga front hoe attachment.

The manufacturer states that the attachment is designed for common Kanga and Dingo Mini Multifit hitch configurations. That does not mean it will automatically fit every mini loader.

What We Need to Check

  • Your mini loader make and exact model.
  • Clear photos of the attachment mounting plate.
  • Photos of the hydraulic connections and couplings.
  • The loader’s hydraulic flow and pressure specifications.
  • The machine’s rated operating capacity and suitability for the 110kg attachment.
Compatibility must be confirmed before hire. Do not assume that every machine using a similar-looking hitch or hydraulic connection will be suitable.

Will it fit a Dingo or another mini loader?

The attachment is designed around common Kanga and Dingo Mini Multifit configurations. Exact fitment and hydraulic compatibility must still be checked before hire.

Is the backhoe better than the trencher?

It depends on the job. A trencher is generally more efficient for long, narrow trenches. The backhoe is better when you need to remove soil, form a wider excavation or dig an irregular area.

Can the Kanga move the soil after digging?
